What are the colors of the karate belts in order?

I dont know how it goes and i am a black belt!

1. it depends on the style. in cheynee kenpo, the order is as follows: White yellow orange purple blue blue/green green green/brown first brown second brown third brown first black (black up to 10th degree, 1-5=shihan, 5-9=sensa, 10=grand master

11. i don't know, but i want to tell you the philosophy behind the belting system which is usually ignored. You sart off at white, sgnifying purity, then as you practice the art the belt gets darker or 'dirtier', signifying the loss of purity. (black belt)as you train over and over, more and more, the belts color starts to fade and the belt becomes white again, signifying the return to purity. but most schools nowadays will just give you a new belt, or fill them so full of dye that they cannot become white again.
