- don't take karate. take kickboxing its more intense and could help you shape your body. In kickboxing your either the best or the worst.
- "worst" to best white yellow orange green purple blue red brown black
- Take Karate. Karate fully includes Kick Boxing, in fact many styles of Kickboxing are based on Karate and even Muay Thai was indirectly influenced by Karate through a Vietnamese version of Shotokan Karate. Karate also includes: Joint locks, sweeps, take downs, and sometimes ground fighting. Traditional ranks are: White, Yellow, Green, Brown, Black. More modern schools also add: Orange, Blue, Purple.
- when i used to take tae kwon do.. it was white white/yellow stripe yellow yellow/green stripe green green/blue stripe blue blue/brown stripe brown brown/red stripe red red/black stripe BLACK
- white is the worst and black is the best!! thats all i know
- Originally Karate did not have any ranking system. They had students and experts. It wasn't until the early 1900's when Jigoro Kano developed a ranking system for Judo that Karate was forced to adapt in order to get acceptance from the Japanese government, as well as recognition for Karate to be considered a Japanese system. In the beginning authentic Karate had only three belts below black. White - New student / Beginner Green - Intermediate Level of Basics Brown - Advanced Application of Basics Black - You now know the basics (not expert) Over the years, and with the commercialization of martial arts in general, instructors now have up to 10 or more belts before black belt. Korean Systems: White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Brown, Red, Black Okinawan / Japanese Systems: White, Yellow, Purple, Green, Blue, Brown, Black Chinese "Karate" Systems (Kempo/Kenpo) White, Gold, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Brown, Black What is important to note that the black belt does not signify anything expect that one has perfected the "basics" of their art and are now ready for the real experience of life long training in the "discipline" of martial arts. To many people think, or believe a black belt is an expert, but they are not.
- white yellow orange green purple blue red brown black-13th degree black at which time you can teach it
