Online Discount Furniture Question?

I am interested in purchasing furniture over the internet but have never done it and am rather nervous. Can anyone recommend any discount stores or share any experience you have had from any furniture stores on th web? Any help would be appreciated.

  1. I was nervous about this same thing a while back. I was looking for discount furniture but nervous about buying it online and having it shipped. As per a recommendation for a friend I tried www.kelleyfurniture.com and purchased a very large bedroom set. It arrived in just over two weeks and in great condition. The best part is that it was 35% less than at my local stores. Maybe I was just lucky but the company seemed to be very professional and experienced. Good luck!

  3. I have purchased from both Ikea as well as Target. To be honest with you, I think Target has some better quality stuff and it is shipped directly from the manufacturer (most times I've experienced). If you watch their "online" ads, they often times will offer many great pieces at "free shipping" which is a HUGE savings for heavier items. Other times, Target offers a $50.00 gift-card when you order certain lines. I ordered a tv cabinet from Target, patio furniture and many other pieces and to be honest with you I have been very pleased with most of their things. Good luck.
  4. I would suggest www.kelleyfurniture.com , they offer discounts and coupons and other good incentives. I have never shopped there but it was recommended to me from a neighbor when I was asking where I can find discount furniture.
