Ladies: why do you prefer garter belts instead of pantyhose for everyday wear?

I am NOT talking about the bedroom - I mean using stockings with a garter belt instead of pantyhose for day to day use. Please, women only - all the sicko guys out there pls. do not respond.

1. I feel sexier in them...i don't have to keep checking them like i do with hold ups...i'm virgo...everything has to be evenly lined up
2. Do you ask any question other than this and why is it so important? The last time I wore a garter belt with stockings was in 92 and I cant say that I preferred them. I actually wore them because they were a gift from my then boyfriend who purchased only the garter belt and bra. I myself went out and bought several pairs of nylons one with seems down the back. They looked nice and I felt kind of sexy in them but I lost interest soon afterward .I don't think I would wear them again now, even tho I easily could!
3. no, i do not. i prefer thigh high stockings.
4. I wear them everyday to work, cuz i can't stand pantyhose. They are so much more comfortable and practical, i could go on and on. They look better, feel better, and are easier to coordinate cuz they have so many colors. Plus so much easier to go to the rest room.
