Anyone use garter belts instead of pantyhose?

I'm hoping I'm not alone - but are there other women out there that just prefer garter belts instead of pantyhose? I don't mean for your many in bed or for a wedding, prom, etc. I want to hear from women who use them at work or just daily instead of panthose. Any others out there besides me?

4. Yes, Lord. Yes! I love suspenders and stockings. I am a huge fan of hosiery in general, but my favorite hosiery, by far, are fully-fashioned thigh-high with Cuban heels. Those are SO vintage, and so exquisitely manufactured, that anyone who hasn't had the good fortune to experience the luxury of full-fashioned hosiery is definitely missing out... Believe me when I tell you that they don't make hosiery like that anymore. Fully-fashioned hose are kind of hard to come by nowadays. ...What makes them so special is the fact that they are kitted to fit the shapes and curves of the body.
5. I wear them everyday, and avoid pantyhose like the plague if I can. I like the ultra sheer nylons, and the feel of the garter belts on my legs when I walk. they are way more sophisticated, and men and women are always asking me where I got the great looking "Pantyhose" I just tell them the Internet and don't go into detail. I own about 25 garter belts, a couple of waist cinches and corsets several bustiers, and even a girdle to as other ways to hold my stockings up.
6. Hi, I am a HS senior, but work every afternoon in an office, and I wear stockings and a garter belt nearly every day. I started by wearing hold ups, but the elastic bothers me after a couple of hours, so I switched to a garter belt and I am (pardon the pun) hooked. I am wearing one to my prom for sure, but I assure I have worn garters and stockings to school and work everyday since last everyday October and love them, so don't feel as if you are the only one. In fact one of the full time girls in my office has even started wearing them since she saw mine.
7. Yes I prefer a garter belt and stockings to pantyhose, especially in the summer. I do wear them to the office most days, unless I have a real problem with the garters showing through my tighter skirts. I have a new shorter garter belt that has pretty much overcome that problem though. I am glad to see that there were other women out there who feel the same way. Sometimes other women make you feel a little strange, and they have no idea what they are missing. I think the women who only wear them for their man must have ill fitting garter belts, because mine are way more comfortable than pantyhose, with their crotch problems, and roll over waistbands. Also the quality of the stockings, are so much superior than that of most pantyhose.
