Why do guys like stockings and garter belts?

I always were stockings, they are really comfortable, I like to wear skirts, and I think they are more classy then bare legs. Well anyway, I was on a date with this guy, it was windy, and my skirt kinda blew up over my head, it was really embarressing, but he thought it was sexy ?? What is so sexy about stockings ? He says most guys like stockings. Is this true and why do guys like stockings and garter belts ? Thanks for your help :) I am actually wating to have sex, until I get married, so it isn't a sexual thing, they are just more comfortable then tights, so.... Are you people saying he thought I looked like a whore ?! People in the 30s, 40s, and 50s wore them, how did they turn into a slutty thing ?!

11. Most guys find stockings and garter belts sexy because these are what those girls in sleazy mags wear - those and nothing else! So they find it sexy by association. But the truth is most guys hate those stockings & garter belts (esp. the panty hose kind) --- it's so cumbersome when they feel like messing around some (e.g., petting at the movies, car, resto, etc.). They have to negotiate thru detours to reach their destination....bummer!

Guys like them because legs look so much better with stockings on and pantyhose are so ugly on the top, they look like old lady panties with legs sewn on them, not to mention how uncomfortable they are. My mother went to parochial school in the 60's before pantyhose and she wore them to chool every day. They were required. the guys all wore ties to school too. I think the fact there is a little skin showing on top of the stockings, and our underwear is so much skimpier than in the 60's makes the stockings look so much hotter than they did then, although mu mom said, the guys all liked them then too. Much better than knee or bobby sox I am sure.
