I want to start an online store?

Do you think I would have more sucess with my own website or an auction site like e-bay? I'm going to start with women's and junior's clothing, shoes, and accessories. If this goes well I may want to venture into children's clothing and home decor-should I just start a new site for these items or make my store one that sells all of these items? What are some good memorable names? Please base this on your opinion of my second question. Please answer any or all of these questions. Thank you so much.

1. Having your own website and Internet presence is important especially when promoting a new business. I would recommend that you do both, your own site and sell some of your items on eBay. Your eBay account can link to your website and you can put your web address on business cards, flyers, etc. I don't have any suggestions for a name, but you may consider browsing the domain names that have expired or are on sale. If you find a name that fits, it can be instant traffic to your site. If you decide to go with a brand new, unique name I suggest registering the domain name right away. Start small and expand as your business grows. Wishing you much success!
