Belt Auction

Ebay, Expierienced ebayers only please!!?

live in San Diego where garage sales, swap meets and auctions are very plentifull and go year round. I have been buyin like dress slacke and making a little money, looking to find great deals on high end designer brands to re sell, just today, I came across a pair of salvatore farragomo dress shoes for women. I want to eventually do this it full time. Questions: 1. Should I offer free shipping on light items (clothing or drop the starting price a couple bucks and add a shipping charge? 2. Designer clothes, disney items, porcelain, china, What else should I buy and resell, any ideas here? 3. Do you think I will make more money with a 5 day auction ending on the weekend or a 7 day auction ending on a weekday? 4. What do you buy USED and resell, how much money do you make and do you do it fulltime? Any other thaughts or ideas ? Thinks your time is much appreciated!! 1. You can offer free shipping but make sure you are making enough with your final price to compensate for that. Tacking on extra shipping and starting the listing price low is called Fee Circumvention and a violation, Different items do well at different times. Make sure they end when the majority of your buyers are at home/not having dinner/not getting the kids ready for bed/not sleeping The key is, to buy low and sell high. Stick with things you know about and know the value of. You should never sell items you have no clue about.... Read the answer center on ebay....you'll learn a lot....but there, like here, you aren't going to get people to tell you what the sell, where they get it, etc.
