One rule for the police and one for us.Your opinion please?
Cheap knives and meat cleavers are being sold in online auctions - by police. Police Sell Knives In Web Auction Several constabularies from across the country have made the gaffe by listing the blades on the web at the same time as supporting efforts to crack down on knife crime. Police forces often sell lost or seized property such as bicycles, clothes and computer equipment through a website called Bumble Bee Auctions. Thames Valley police listed two nine-piece knife sets, which included meat cleavers. Just copied from http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20081217/tuk-police-sell-knives-in-web-auction-45dbed5.html

- i agree with you, they get away with alot
- Yes, but it's not like they are selling individual knives - it's a knife set. For a kitchen. Are you going to ban Lakeland and Debenhams from selling knife sets? How do you want us to cut a chicken up? With a butter knife?
- Yeah, it's terrible, i just hope they weren't used first...if you know what i mean!!
- cops are hypocrites..they treat people like crap and think they are above the law. If they want respect then they need to earn it.
- Oh I def think its one rule for them another for us, just last night I was driving home and this meat wagon was speeding over 50mph in a 40, it went through a amber light and speed through a town centre where there are lots of clubs and drunk people. I nearly thought about ringing it in, I was so cross.
