I have a 2001 Pontiac Subfire. The digital mileage reading no longer shows up. How do I fix this?
I have had my car for over five years and just when it is paid off I start having trouble with it. I believe it is something electrical. I have been to discount Auto parts but they act as if they cannot help me. Could this be a fuse or bulb? If not how do I fix this?

- I assume it is a Sunfire. Anyway if nothing shows up, it could be a fuse or bulb to start with. Take it to a shop and just ask them to check bulb and fuse first so at least they know are not without any ideas. If is illegal to drive your car if the odometer is not working so get it fixed soon.
- Your gonna need to replace the whole dash cluster, the thing that has the speedometer, tach, and milage
- Your speedometer is bad. What you need to do is replace the whole instrument panel. Your best bet is go to a salvage yard and get one. The mileage for your car is stored in a computer so what ever instrument panel you get the mileage will be right for your car.
- If it's a subfire then it could be water damge. hahaha. Sorry but it sounds like you need a new or used instrustment panel. You can find on in a junkyard. Or check out Ebay.
