How can I become a certified antiques appraiser?

I am a professional organizer and often clean out estates. I would like to understand the value of the items I am trying to sell on behalf of my clients.

2. Read a lot of reference books related to the price of old furniture and antiques. A furniture antique has to be at least 100 years old. But old furniture can be a collectible and as valuable. As to being certified, check with your state's licensing board. Some states don't require it. Good luck.
