  1. its not exactly going to be an antique now is it try ebay
  2. I believe early Icelandic versions are the most sought after by tweed tanktop wearing collectors and can fetch up to 50p at auction.http://www.icelandic-goods.com/shop/images/icelandictrollsmagnet.jpg
  3. fridge magnets? dear gods naff all comes to mind, you be better off opening a nookie shop. 1.2.3........
  4. yip, it was a double phone bid, it went for 30 pence, bargain
  5. The real valuable ones are signed by ' Bo-bo'. Turn the magnet over and if you get a magnifying glass you might see a little Bo-bo in the corner. They fetch 42 kazillion Icelandic Krona. At the current exchange that's 36p. No Cratchit Christmas for you R Steph.
  6. I doubt you'll get much for that. Even old Disney ones aren't worth much more than they were new. Gold is pretty valuable right now, maybe you have something old or broken to sell? If not, then stick to cheaper gifts. Try making gifts. Scrap books will take a long time for everyone, but will be a very thoughtful gift. People will be touched at the time you invest.
  7. I'm an antiques dealer and I haven't seen any come up at auction lately, but I'll put the word out that I'm in the market.
  8. Rather unlikely, as you don`t tend to see antique fridges all that often. I sensibly invested in some flashing Xmas fridge magnets last year from the £1 or less store. I figure that as i paid so little for them, they can only appreciate in value.
  9. Don't take anything on the Antiques Roadshow they won't give you f**k all for it. I took a load of antique plates on the once. They were even dishwasher proof I mean what more do they want? It's a load of bollocks. :-)
  10. Sorry to say, it'll be worth sod all.
  11. A fridge magnet? You must be desperate.
