Childrens Clothing Charities? I have a ton of old clothes that i would like to donate for kids. But I dont want it to go to waste (my mom always takes my clothes without my permission and gives them to my spoiled little cousin) This time, i want to take control. My clothes are in great condition and i want to give it to a charity. Do you know any good ones? oh and they must meet these standards: ~Must accept clothing ~Simple ~Does not require me to pay ~Will come to my door and pick it up or there should be somewhere I can drop it off ~No credit cards or payment involved ~DOES NOT AUCTION THE CLOTHING OFF Please give me the name or direct link of the charity. 1. You didnt state where you are, which is a safe thing to do online. I would do a search and find a church helping the needy in your area, or a shelter for women with children. You might find info from the Red Cross too, since they assist people whose house has burned down etc etc. Dont worry you never have to pay to donate clothes. But most services that pick up at your door will sell them, so they will sit until purchased. So I think my suggestions would get your nice clothes to someone who needs them right now faster. You know there is one more place, Im trying to think what it is called. It is where, children removed from abusive homes or their parents were killed are housed until suitable accomidations can be found, do you know what Im talking about? Sorry just cant remember what it is called. Call the PD and they will tell you thier number and you can ask about donating directly to them. They also take in dolls and stuffed animals you no longer want for these kids and teens.
