Belt Auction

In your view, how much would the actual shoes thrown at Bush go for if auctioned OR placed on Ebay?

Considering the climate we live in, if the reporter were to place his shoes up for bid, what do you think someone (average income person OR multimillionaire) would pay for them if anything at all?

Public Comments

  1. The reporter will never get those shoes back. The Iraqi so-called "police" will steal them as "evidence" and the Iraqi government will eventually sell them to a rich Arab for 3.2 million dollars. They will be enshrined and worshipped for the next millennium by middle easterners reveling in that one shining moment when a regular citizen spoke for the entire Arab culture -- displaying appropriate contempt for bush the War Criminal.
  2. 5 GRAND AND UP. The first answerer is perhaps right, there may be bogus shoes offered up.
  3. He would maybe get a lot of money depending on who is bidding on the shoes.
  4. Anyone who buys them would be an idiot. They're used, most likely smell bad, and are probably cheap. They're evidence used to bash his face in by his own people.
  5. I would bet a whole lot. But the shoes have been destroyed. "As for the shoes, AFP reports that they've been destroyed. "The shoes were examined by the Iraqi and American security services and then destroyed," investigating judge Dhiya al-Kenani tells."
  6. Probably around $300 - 400 as is... or with Bush's autograph on them then maybe $4.50 to $4.75
  7. They will be evidence in the trial
  8. A LOT
  9. not much unless a real sucker bids on them
  10. The Saudi Sheiks would bid up to a Billion dollars to have the first shoe.
  11. They'd go for a lot more if they actually hit Mr. Shrubbery. As is, maybe only 25 cents. Maybe the prez will come here and I can load up and give it another shot! I have a whole closet full of shoes that don't fit -- tennis shoes, clod-hoppers, clogs, tie-on shoes, slip-on shoes, high heels that I cain't wear since the arthur-itis got too bad, some zip-ups that my daughter useta wear to band practice and she said they wuz as ugly as a mud fence, I might even buy some cowboy boots! Why, we could have a regular Throw Yore Shooz at the Prez and Sink 'im day and raise money for charity!
  12. not that much considering most of us are struggling in the Bush recession.
  13. They aren't worth anything as Bozo missed. His aim is so bad he flunked out of terrorist school! All he can do now is become a Democrat Senator from New York.
