How much money were the fairy photographs estimated at on the Antiques Roadshow?

An episode of the Antiques Roadshow on the 4th of January at 7pm on BBC 1 oversaw the selling of fairy photographs. The photographers had been taken two young girls, Elsie Wright and her cousin, Frances Griffiths. They claimed they had seen the fairies on an earlier occasion and had gone back with a camera and photographed them. They had been taken in July and September 1917, near the Yorkshire village of Cottingley. Their daughter put the original photographs and the camera up for sale at a price that i missed due to other people talking. I am so upset that i didn't hear the price and would do anything to know how much the offer was. Please can anyone out there help me who saw this episode today?

  1. I didn't see this episode (wish I had!) ... but you might ask here: http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=132207 Also, an interesting article someone posted on the JRef forum: "An 84-year old photographic archive relating to the celebrated Cottingley Fairies hoax has fetched £6,000 at auction - nearly twice as much as expected."
