Can you sell your home to a real estate company such as remax to rent out?

I am in the military and just got short notice orders. I applied for a humanitarian due to a death and now will be moving in about 30 days. I did not realize that it would go through that quickly and I know that my house would not sell that quickly. A woman at work suggested that I sell my house to a real estate agent so that they could turn around and rent it. Has anyone heard of this , if so can you step me through the process. Thank you for your help in advance.

Never heard of this as the practice of a real estate brokerage like ReMax. Possibly there are individual REALTORs who are interested in purchasing investment property, maybe that is what your friend meant. Maybe she meant to list your property for lease with a real estate brokerage, that happens a lot. Good luck.
Remax will not buy your home, no real estate office will. However, if the price is right a real estate agent may very well decide to pick it up themselves as income property. There are no programs for this. Just list it LOW in the MLS and any real estate agents looking to buy a house will see it.
Where is your house? What is it's value? How much is outstanding on the mortgage(s)? We may be interested in buying it.
