How can i improve my ebay bidding?

I suck at bidding i always get out bidded. HELP PLEASE!!! I don't think i'm doing it right.

1. for me I decide what I am willing to pay. Then put on watch list.(When end of bidding is getting close they will email you) When gets close to end of bidding if my price is still available then I will start bidding. I also look for buy it nows. If reasonable I will do that. Have fun is the main thing.
2. watch the item that your interest in bidding and wait for the last 10 secs. enter your bid price and click it. That what i usually do and i usually get it not unless the other bidder has a very high bid which usually i pass on it and go to the next. there will always be a good stuff thats coming. happy bidding.
3. they have that new thing bid assist.....it takes your maximum bid and bids for you till your max bid gets out bid.... you never go over what you are willing to pay.....and it just keeps on bidding for you aas long as someone else is bidding also.... its pretty neat...i use it all the time.
