not all ebay auctions are bad. it depends on who is running it and what kind of people are shopping. the people who say that it is, either got scamed buying (bought an item that was not what they thought it was or not in the condition they thought it was in) or was scammed when someone bought something from them (i.e. never got the money they were supose to). you just have to be careful of who you're dealing with and making sure that you're not one of the ones who gets scammed.
i bought video ipod white and it was selling for 125. i love it. you just have to check out the venders history in ebays files. Also web investigate if the company has been reported to the better business bearu. Also Ebay has a section called sellers reputation. Ebay is pretty good for me so far. walmart's online electronic section is really good and tigerdirect.com is fantastic. cheep, rebates on all items and good quality. if u want u can email me a link of ebay sale and i can say yes or no. good luck. sormeh
I have used ebay regularly and like everything on-line, you need to exercise care. My experiences have been fantastic and I've bought some great bargains.
I won't touch them with a barge pole, but thats just me, my brother inlaw and wife use it all the time, they dont have any complaints, but I'm one of those people, buyer beware, but I suppose each to their own, give it a try if you feel safe to do so but not without firewalls, shields, etc., goodluck to you!
