What's the best way to clean dirty seat belts?
The light brown seat belts in my Nissan Maxima look very dirty. Upholstery cleaner doesn't seem to work. Is there something else I can use to get them clean?

- Try a paste of baking soda and water, let sit then wipe of with a damp cloth.
- Tough Stuff...comes in a spray can....foam cleaner. It works pretty good. Good luck.

- Dilute some Mild washing Detergent in Hot water. Soak cloth in it! Rub wet cloth up & Down dirty Seat belt-Then Rub with Dry Cloth to take out excess water. Repeat till clean!

- Spray on some Tuff Stuff by STP and then use your little steamer that you bought at walmart and steam them! You will be amazed!
- HOST Carpet Cleaner. Use it everywhere on your interior it work's. It's actually a Home Carpet Cleaner so go to a Vaccum Cleaner Store and ask for HOST Carpet Cleaner. It's a dry Carpet Cleaner it's awesome. No doubt. Just apply it and use a scrub brush. You only have to use a little bit at a time. Work's excellent.
- try using simple green, spray it on, let it soak for about 10 to 15 minutes then rinse with water.
- Purple Power, or scrubbing bubbles. Spray it on then let it do the work for you. Ten minutes later scrub with a bristle brush and rinse with water. Purple Power cleans anything.
