What's the best way to clean dirty seat belts?

The light brown seat belts in my Nissan Maxima look very dirty. Upholstery cleaner doesn't seem to work. Is there something else I can use to get them clean?

  1. Try a paste of baking soda and water, let sit then wipe of with a damp cloth.

  6. Spray on some Tuff Stuff by STP and then use your little steamer that you bought at walmart and steam them! You will be amazed!
  7. HOST Carpet Cleaner. Use it everywhere on your interior it work's. It's actually a Home Carpet Cleaner so go to a Vaccum Cleaner Store and ask for HOST Carpet Cleaner. It's a dry Carpet Cleaner it's awesome. No doubt. Just apply it and use a scrub brush. You only have to use a little bit at a time. Work's excellent.
  8. try using simple green, spray it on, let it soak for about 10 to 15 minutes then rinse with water.
  9. Purple Power, or scrubbing bubbles. Spray it on then let it do the work for you. Ten minutes later scrub with a bristle brush and rinse with water. Purple Power cleans anything.
