Hi. I have just discovered the world of online freelancing; the kind that requires writers to bid on the jobs?

I don't understand the lingo. What is .doc format? There are lots of other terms that I don't understand; most of 'em, actually. Where can I go to see a list of these terms and what they mean? Also, I don't understand how I will get paid. Is it by check, Paypal, or what? Thanks for your answers.

1. .doc is a windows word processor file. you can always type in the words you dont understand in google.
2. There are many formats that are require to write a piece. Depending on the person/company that put in the request this what they use for their writing. In your case .doc format is using Microsoft Word software for their writing documents. I would suggest for you to do an internet search for any formats you are not familiar with or contact me and i will try to assist you. In regards, to payment its up to you.
