On 'Antiques Roadshow' on PBS, what's the official name of the people that bring items to be appraised?

I don't think 'customer' quite works. 'Owner' is too general. 'collector' doesnt quite hit home, either. Any suggestions? Maybe i'll check out the show's website or wikipedia...

2. They are just PEOPLE---they don't have or NEED an official name---it's just PEOPLE who come to have articles appraised....whether it's the British version or the USA version, they are just PEOPLE...
