Belt Auction

I'm not getting any younger. How much do you think I'd fetch on 'Antiques Roadshow'?

  1. Do you really want old guys hands on you diplaying you to other old people that want to flog you? Its a pretty sad existence.
  2. depends on what city...
  3. It would be sad to find out that you are actually a fake, made in China reproduction of an earlier piece and are of little value.
  4. Do you want an auction value, or an insurance value?
  5. nowt
  6. £0.00p
  7. I consulted my fellow appraisers, and we could not agree on a value. But I think since you are quite rare and much sought after, I'd say you'd fetch a high price indeed. The sky's the limit.
  8. Some butt pirate my pay two bits for you!
  9. hmmm well id say without the original packaging and with no sign of an artist signature we're not looking at a very large sum however due to the age and working condition i think you would collect a couple of hundred at the right auction
  10. HHmmmm. Lets take a look at you. 20th Century. mmm, a little wear and tear. Original hallmark on the base. A very fine piece, where did you find it? Attached to your neck you say? Ahhh yes. I suppose this would auction at around £8000. Maybe more if it was at a collectors auction. Now, as for that exquisite shiny red helmet, that little gem is priceless!
  11. Your priceless sweetheart!!
  12. Okay, only because I'm not a kid anymore either can I say this. You'd probably get a more fetching price if you bring your old firetrucks and hats. I've got an antique chidren's sewing machine that still works that's worth a pretty penny.
  13. It depends on how many bones were thrown. Although, home viewers may believe you to be fetching, it's all a matter of opinion.
  14. Will you leave your helmet on? That would be at least 10 pnds extra.
  15. What reserve would you suggest, just in case?
