How do You Go about bidding for Private work and Contracts With the State of North Carolina?

I would like to do some transporting and courier services for the state. I would like to haul materials of any kind contracted by the state(NC). Can anyone direct me to a particular office. I heard its with the procurement office, but have no idea where or how to apply. Any information is appreciated. Ed.

1. all states have official websites. select the "doing business with the state" or something similar. keep digging though the menus until you find procurrement/contracts. they will have a section on how to become a quaified vendor. don't forget each County and City does the same.
