sizes for belts help?

ok so i wanna order a mens size belt and my waist is 33 inch. on the sizing chart there is either medium ( 30-32 inch) or large ( 34-36) which one should i get. and when they mean the sizes are they talking about the largest size the belt could expand on your waist or the smallest size the belt could go on your waist.

1. I would go with the large, since you won't fit in a 32 (you are a 33). It's better to go in the store and buy it, though. I hate ordering clothes because of the size issue, but I'll admit I do it often lol.
