Does anyone know anything about the US Home Auction?
Is it for real?
Public Comments
- No, they publish some off number, FAR below the reserve on the auction. Do not think you will get even close to the "opening bid", it is about 25% of the reserve bid.
- If you are referring to the nationwide builder US Homes, they are a very reputable company. If you are talking about "a US Home" auction I can't help you. I can give you some general auction information. You will have to put up a deposit (usually 10%) the day of the auction and closing is usually within 30 days. You cannot bid "subject to financing." You are buying "as is" and while you will have a chance to preview prior to the auction, you will not be able to have the home inspected by a professional home inspector. In most cases the buyer pays the commission adn that's not including in the winning bid amout. It's plus commission. Don't get caught in a bidding war or you might end up paying more than its worth. Know the market before you start bidding. realtor.sailor realtor.sailor
