What's the need to shut down yahoo singapore auction.?

Their reasons was to serve customers better... to me not very reasonable. I meant at least give us a place to browse beside ebay. The fact is i like Yahoo auction. so why shut down yahoo singapore auction????????

1. I agree with you. Yahoo gives stupid excuse of serving customers better. I am very sad to see Yahoo Auction gone from Yahoo Website as this is a very popular website and I also like Yahoo Auction very much. Try www.ST701.com if you want to buy items.
2. Singapore Yahoo Auction is a joke. Most transactions were done through sms or email instead of the proper bidding process. And searching an item was painful because of the inconsiderate sellers who put all popular keywords in their description. Try searching "N95" and you will get posts selling hairpins or shoes. Anyway, the reason they shut it down is I guess it's too expensive to maintain it since Yahoo don't get anything from the transaction.
