6. The one that Randy Orton has was made by J-Mar Championship belts in Columbus Ohio. The actual belt has over 300 hand mounted stones and is plated with Platinum instead of the usual nickel and/or gold. To have that EXACT same belt made would cost approx. 7500.00 plus a 1000.00 fee paid directly to WWE for use of the logo. The "exact replica's" seen on Highspots, Ajsbelts, and sold by Dave Corn on ebay are FAR from exact replicas. The real one seen on tv is made this way. First, the plates are machined from 3/16 inch thick zinc stock with a 3d CNC machine. Not only does it cut a depth it also can round ends and make 3d "drawings" into the paltes. it is then plated in copper, then nickle, then platinium. From there, it is mounted on real leather that was hand cut and had the designed tooled into the leather. Finally, a chaps leather backing is mounted to cover all the mounting bolts on the belt. The 3-500 belts from aj's, highspots, davecorn etc.... They are 1/16 in thick brass plates that are stamped with a very shallow design. They are then mounted on a two layer piece of vinyl that has a spongy foam center. their is no backing on the back so all the mounting hardware is visible and can easily be removed. Also, the real, ring used belts weigh approx. 9-12 pounds, the replica belts weigh just shy of 4 pounds. While the replica belts are nice for the money, there simply is NO comparison to a replica and a ring used belts. To give everyone a fair comparison.... A 2008 V-6 Camero IS a sports car!
