I was born in India I spent the earlier years of my childhood there till my father moved us to another country I went through the youth ranks there and got into a domestic side rather controversially as I got a place over a future Star player. I started of as a slow left arm spinner but after a injury concentrated on batting. I was recently in the IPL auction but had no buyers. I represented my adopted country in two odis. Who am I?

1. This is a total guess mind you, but could it be Panesar or Amla? Edit:, Well I have to write them off, because I just looked & Panesar was born in England & Amla is a right hand/arm player!
2. It's Gulam Bodi. Born in Hathuran, India. The star player he was picked ahead of was Kevin Pietersen. He's played 2 ODI's for South Africa. He also failed to get a bid at the IPL. Forgot to mention he's a left handed batsman and a left arm chinaman bowler.
