how do i find out what something is worth?

i found some 30 year old avon perfumes still in the box in the shed where i just moved to. some of the bottles are collectibles but they aren't on ebay and i don't know where else to look. i asked the people who used to live here if they want them and they don't so i thought i would try to get a few bucks for them. does anyone know how i could find out how much they are worth?
