Where are the Tenor Musical Theatre Songs Like Elphaba in Wicked but for Men?
Girls in Musical Theatre have so many options to sing amazing belting songs... I am looking for the Mens version of Elphaba... Maybe something from Bare or Spring Awakening... Please Let Me know.. Looking to use my powerful upper register to Belt things out! Thanks

- Tenor voice, which was extremely popular in the past, has not been considered so attractive for 40 years or so, leaving aside any prepubescent shrill screaming. If you look at the big band singers of the 40's and the early rock groups of the late 50's and early 60's and you note your own and your friend's reactions to the tenor voices, you will probably find a distinctive 'how old fashioned' commentary.
- There are loads of great tenor songs out there. Have a look at: - Why God, Why? from Miss Saigon - If I Can't Love Her from Beauty and the Beast - Being Alive from Company - Marry Me A Little from Company - Sunset Boulevard from Sunset Boulevard - The lead stormtrooper's solo in Springtime For Hitler, from The Producers - Anthem from Chess - Something's Coming from West Side Story - Maria from West Side Story - Giants In The Sky from Into the Woods - Empty Chairs at Empty Tables from Les Miserables - Sit Down You're Rockin' The Boat from Guys and Dolls - Heaven on Their Minds from Jesus Christ Superstar - Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar - Pity the Child from Chess - in its original key, this calls for a top C# in full voice - very few can sing this at pitch! - Confrontation from Jekyll and Hyde - This Is The Moment from Jekyll and Hyde
