Buying from Yahoo.jp, I need help with currencies. Help, please?

It's about Yahoo.jp. There's a box set I want that I could only find on Yahoo! Japan auctions. And I have the money for it . . . But is it possible to buy it from the United States and just ship it from Japan without it having to be on US Yahoo? And how would I convert the money to Yen? Please help.

1. Here is a currency converter http://finance.yahoo.com/currency?u You may have to find out from the buy if they ship to the US. I would say most do, but its something to check. Also the postage is going to be much higher, so keep that in mind as well.
