What did the RFC's look like on Noah's competitive bid process when he was building the ark?

Public Comments

  1. Clay tablets with scratches in them.
  2. He didn't subcontract his work, he was an owner-builder. Though I understand it was a family-enterprise with his sons getting into the ship building business.
  3. Seeing as how the divine master planner had decided to scratch off and drown all other existing contract suppliers, Purchasing Services failed to either follow, or comply with, the competitive bidding guidelines and instead deferred to the "godidit" clause of the process guidelines. As a result, architectural deficiencies led to some umpteen species of bearded clams and several species of winged horses to fail to obtain berths on said ark. The lawyers are still haggling over compensation.
  4. Assorted responses to Noah's Request For Comments: "Gopher wood? Isn't that a national strategic material?" "...and just whose 'cubit' would that be?" "Sir, are you aware how much elephants actually do eat?" "...and how exactly do you plan to eventually launch this thing?" "WHO told you that Tyrannosaurs like to eat peanuts?"
