Need A Real Auto Auction, Please?

Hello, I need a public auto auction where I can view the vehicles before I go down and bid. Its ok if I have to pay a monthly fee...but it just seems like I have to pay one website to get to another an another and so on. Is there a legit real website I can join and find a vehicle besides ebay, please? If it helps I live in Riverside, CA. I was also told that if I check out my local city auction then I can pick up a vehicle (which will be for my son) from $500-1500. Please help us out, thanx Have A Happy =)

  1. Stay away from auctions unless you know how to evaluate the condition of the vehicle on the spot. You're much better off shopping the lots and the local classifieds for good used cars. You can take your time, have the car inspected by a certified mechanic and make an informed decision. Don't pay anyone for access to auction listings. All they are doing is taking your money. Try Craigslist.org it's free
  2. Auctions are held all over the country almost every day. If you live in Riverside, look up Manheim auctions in your telephone book or on the Internet. Here's more about it: http://www.used-car-advisor.com/car-auction.htm
  3. http://www.mycarauctionreview.com has a review on a couple of popular car auction sites. I think you only pay a one time fee to access the reviewed site's car auction listings. They come with the address, phone number and website address (if they have one) for auctions near you.
