Are the WWE championship belts made from real gold?

I really hope it is because than at least the champs have some sense of pride.

8. i believe they are gold plated since gold is like 700 dollars an ounce and those belts are about 20 lbs they would be a bit costly if they were solid gold

11. They are all made from solid silver, and dipped in gold. I know that the World Heavyweight title is anyway. Bischoff said that the belt was made by a silversmith in the death of WCW biography, so my guess, is that they are gold plated, but solid silver (silver is much cheaper than gold)
12. Yes both the WWE championship belts are made from real gold, also when John Cena was on 106 & Park on BET he talked about the WWE championship costing 670,000$ because of all the diamonds.
