Belt Auction

I want to organise a clothes auction for charity, how would I go about doing this?

I'm 17 and I go to school, and I'm a member of my school's "Charities Committee". Comic Relief is coming up so I thought it would be a good idea to hold a clothes auction. How would I go about this? Thanks for your help :D xxxxx

1. It depends on how large you want to make the event. If you simply want to keep it school-wide and simple, get your classmates to donate clothes, choose a day and time to hold the auction, get permission from the school, put up posters and have fun. For something bigger, you will need to organize a space to use and get someone to donate the use of it. Get stores around town to donate clothing. Find volunteers to pick up the clothing, make up signs and tags, help with all the work that will happen. Advertise on radio, the paper, posters, etc. Still fun, but a LOT more work.
