Beyond that look for machinery auctions, police auctions, government auctions all of which admit the public and frequently have a selection of cars. Sometimes impounds, sometimes used official vehicles. I used to visit the Tampa Machinery Auction which auctioned off hundreds of cars once a month but which wasn't listed as a car auction.
