How do I buy stuff on ebay and get a good price without bidding?

I want to buy the American Girl Mia doll before Christmas. They have some on ebay going for $12.00, $9.99, and $0.99 ..... my question is do I have to bid on it so I can buy it? I really would love to get it, i've been wanting it since the beginning of this year but I couldn't afford it. What do I have to do to get it for a low price?

2. Some items have a "buy it now" option you can use...you can do a search for what you are looking for and use that option as well.
