What sites can I find to do freelance website design work and more that don't limit bidding and that are free?

What are some freelance websites that don't limit your bidding and don't charge a commission when you get paid for doing the work and are free?

1. That's a little far fetched... A site has to exist for a reason, and that reason, when it comes to helping designers, is money. They will ALWAYS take some sort of commission. The only way around it is to find the freelance work without the help of a website. Not always the easiest, but it's the only way you'll get around fees.
