Buying a US T-Mobile prepaid account online?

Hi! Is this true? Thanks! T-Mobile.com has a $20 phone that is a piece of junk for prepaid. I have my own phone and I will just put the sim in.

1. not sure but call t-mobile and ask them. I have the prepaid account and if you do it online you get a free phone and you have some pretty good ones to choose from.
2. Do what I did... Keep your existing phone and have them transfer your account to prepaid for free. They will even give you 15 free minutes. T-Mobile has great customer service. Then go buy a 1000 minutes card from www.callingmart.com and use a coupon (ca3p-1207). You can't find a better deal than that anywhere. 9 cents a minute WITH 365 DAYS EXPIRATION DATE!
