How much should i bid on a 04 Hayabusa?

so there is a local repo lot in my town that has this motorcycle. it has about 6k miles. its looks very clean and very solid. the wholesale value is just under $6000. the question is.. how much do u think would be a good bid/ what would u bid on it?

1. Lots of bikes on the market right now so I'd say $6500 to $7000 is what I'd give for if it was stock.
2. Unless it's a silent/secret auction, start your bidding at a low-ball price. You may luck out and be the only serious bidder. Just make sure you have a firm upper limit in your head. If the bidding goes above that number, walk away. Don't let emotions take over in which case you may pay more than the bike is worth. Have you seen this bike started/running? If not, be careful. A clean and shiny bike may still be a POS bike.
