What do you think of France rob the antiques of China and don't return to China?

I think they're rude.Because they robbed the antiques in many years ago and the antiques belong to China actually. In before.I like France very much. But since I know they robbed our things and don't return to us.I'm very angry.

  1. They have returned the tea service.
  2. Interesting! Those things belonged to individuals long since dead, not "China". In fact it all belonged to the Emperor, as did the people, so the only loser is the Emperor - and there isn't one any more! So calm down, it is only things. Cheers, Steve.
  3. Claiming who legal owns them would be a hard thing to due under French law. Ideally the moral thing to do would be to give them back. However the owners would say they have passed through hand to hand over time and its legally heres. The owners or there past owners could claim that they were legally bought from Chinese sources, while the Chinese would have to prove under French law that they legally belong to them.
  4. Agree with Steve 100%. Would just like to add that if they were never "stolen" they'd have been destroyed in the Cultural Revolution like all the other artifacts and then no one would have them!
  5. my god, if you robbed something, and the one who is robbed dead, therefore you legally own this stuff? and somebody is 100% agree with it?
  6. yep,it's just a thing. But it means more to China. And it isn't only a statuary,it isn't metal,it isn't a toy.If Statue of Liberty disappeared and then some foreigner wanted to sell it. what about your thinking?
