Bidding on ebay in different currencies?
Hi, I live in the US and have a paypal account with the primary payment being my debit card which is US dollars. I want to bid on an item on ebay in GDP. If I bid on something in GDP, does paypal take my US dollars and convert them to GDP automatically for me? Is there a fee for the conversion? So do I just bid as normal? Thank you!

- Hi, I live in Spain and buy on ebay all the time. If I win in the UK and pay with my euro account (paypal) it gets converted when you go to pay. Mine for instance : It shows I am bidding on something that is priced as £6.00 but in brackets underneath it usually shows their estimate approx. of what that is in your currency, if it doesn't show on the first page, it will when you confirm your bid. Sometimes on your paypal invoice of the amount you are to pay it will tell you how much it is in your currency. They do not charge you a fee for doing this, you pay whatever the going rate of exchange is. I buy from the UK, Australia, China and the good ole US $, and never had a problem. Good luck
