where would you rather buy parts AUTOZONE or DISCOUNT AUTO?

2. they both sell lower quality parts ....cheap! i wouldnt buy from there if i didnt have to , id go to carquest or napa between advance and auto zone what ever is cheaper cause its lower quality anyways !

4. while both are ok stores, autozone does sell some quality parts. The issues I have with autozone is their issues with rotating electric, like alternators, starters, etc.. anything they have that's rebuilt and has a lifetime warranty needs to be reconsidered as lower quality. a lifetime warranty means nothing if you have to keep swapping the part. They do sell good parts, name brands mostly, unfortunately they're heavy into fram, which is the lowest quality of all the filtration companies. autozone also has more stores than any other parts store, and their warranties are nationwide, you really can't go to wrong. Unfortunately the person on the counter who's getting you your part or offering advice is the person who will make or break the reputation or autozone.
5. Auto Zone. Best place to buy car parts. Not always the cheapest but the best.
6. I go with the cheapest source, no preference other than the fact that the two auto parts stores in my small town are O'Reilly and Advance Auto so I check them first. Of course, it is pretty easy to find parts for a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville anywhere.
