What a range of prices. Where to pitch it ?
Hi Folks, I am interested in a different car for my wife. A nice Pudget 307 estate with A/C, CD etc. has cropped up in a local rag. I have inspected it, and it is fine condition in all respects. He has it on a "52" plate at £2400 My mate, a car dealer would not pay more than £1500 in px, or at auction. "webuyanycar.com" state £2045 Where should I place an offer, then ? £1600-£1800 tops? I don't know. Any notions thankfully received. Bob

- A pudget you say? A fine car in its day! Offer you wife.
- Depends on the exact model & mileage; http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/used-prices/Version.aspx?model=1153&plate=70 I'd say they're not selling too well - check prices here; http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/PEUGEOT+307/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-55-240-4294965369-4294966925/search.action?showMoreOptions=&formSearchParams=Ne%3D2%2B4%2B5%2B6%2B7%2B8%2B27%2B44%2B49%2B53%2B61%2B64%2B67%2B103%2B133%2B146%2B236%26N%3D55%2B240%2B4294965369%2B4294966925&sort=p_VehiclePrice&make=PEUGEOT&model=307&min_pr=&max_pr=&max_mileage=&lc_channel=cars&dealerGroupId=&dealerId=&radius=1500&postcode=sy218pj&e_source=&e_min_pr=Ne%3D2%2B4%2B5%2B6%2B7%2B8%2B27%2B44%2B49%2B53%2B61%2B64%2B67%2B103%2B133%2B146%2B236%26N%3D240%2B4294965369%2B4294966925%2B55%2B15&e_colour=&e_max_pr=&e_enginecc=&e_mileage=&e_doors=&e_fuel=&e_agerange=&e_transmission=&keywords=&ukcarsearch_full.x=75&ukcarsearch_full.y=15
- Auction prices are up at the moment down south. They are going for middle book prices for tidy cars.If you could get it for £1800 and it,s low mileage then its a good buy but i think you may have to go to £2000 if the seller is stubborn
- decide your max price before making an offer then based on what you have asked I would offer £1250.00 remember you can always increase to your max ,if you offer too high you can't reduce it good luck
