Do black leather belts go good with blue jeans or brown khaki pants?

The black leather belts I have I wear with a suit. I have 2 different ones, would they go well with either jeans or khaki pants?

1. i think its fine with jeans not so sure about the brown khakis.. sorry ;o/
2. A black or brown belt is very universal. You can dress up with them or dress down. Blue jeans and khaki pants go with both.
3. In this case, it's not the color, it's the style. A belt that you would typically wear with a suit should be narrow, finished and be 1" to no more than 1 1/4" wide. It should have a simple buckle. With jeans or khakis, you should wear a wide belt with a more rugged appearance. Distressed leather, stitching, embossing, studs, large grommets and custom buckles are things that can be part of a jeans belt that you would never wear with a suit belt. A jeans belt should be 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" wide. If you can fold it width wise, the leather isn't thick enough.
