Do black leather belts go good with blue jeans or brown khaki pants?
The black leather belts I have I wear with a suit. I have 2 different ones, would they go well with either jeans or khaki pants?

- i think its fine with jeans not so sure about the brown khakis.. sorry ;o/
- A black or brown belt is very universal. You can dress up with them or dress down. Blue jeans and khaki pants go with both.
- In this case, it's not the color, it's the style. A belt that you would typically wear with a suit should be narrow, finished and be 1" to no more than 1 1/4" wide. It should have a simple buckle. With jeans or khakis, you should wear a wide belt with a more rugged appearance. Distressed leather, stitching, embossing, studs, large grommets and custom buckles are things that can be part of a jeans belt that you would never wear with a suit belt. A jeans belt should be 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" wide. If you can fold it width wise, the leather isn't thick enough.
