Does anyone think SD has a legitimate chance of getting to the Superbowl this year?
I think the Steelers will still be the best team in the AFC, and New England should be better this year, but I feel SD is a much improved team over last year. LT and Gates should be recovered from injury, Rivers has one more year under his belt, and the defense is improved with Merriman coming back, and the additions of Bennett and English, plus a full year of Ron Rivera as defensive coach. I think they have a good chance... what do you all think?

- LT is too old to be as effective as he once was. SD doesn't have the talent to match up with Indy, NE, or 'Burgh.
- One play prevented SD from reaching the Super Bowl in 2007, when Mc Cree intercepted the Brady pass and didn't sit down. He got greedy and wanted to show off. It comes down to not only luck, but mental decisions. If SD plays up to their capabilities (same scenario with all other teams) and are free of serious injuries, especially to key positions, they have a good chance to make it, even win it.
- Absolutley not. Go Raiders!!!!!!!!!!!
- Lets see.... You werent good last year, you just lucked into the playoffs by being the least worst. Merriman wont be at 100% until next season, because ACL's will take 2 years. LT might have one decent season in him, theres too much game tape on Sproles now. Notice how much harder it became for San Diego to run without Lorenzo Neal? Even on paper alone, the Chargers are not the team they were with Marty as a coach. As long as Norv is coach, San Diego will remain a team that was slightly less crappy than the three other teams in the worst division in the NFL.
- hell yeah!!!! weve had some bad luck in recent years but look for them to make a strong super bowl push and win one!!!!!! GO BOLTS!!
- the patriots will be the team to beat followed by the steelers. as for the chargers i just don't see it, they are not as good as the two best teams in the league( the pats #1 and the steelers #2) you guys will beat the colts as usual but that's it!
- yes they have a chance. But remember Pitt and Baltimore and are still good
