Eating Problems (unable to eat)?
Hello all, Lately I have been suffering panic attacks. I went to the docter and the docter believes that they happen because of a party I was at in march and gate crashers rolled up and belted everyone up and stole everyones wallets etc. Anyways, I had to stop drinking all the caffeen and energy drinks, alcohol or anything like that because the docter refers to them as stimulents and they will set them of, so I have taken them completely out of my diet The docter has also refered me to a phycoligist, and I have an appointment in a couple of days. Though I'm having issues being able to eat, I can't eat most of the time these past couple of weeks, I feel like I'm going to throw up, I try to talk myself out of it, but it doesn't work, like I ate just a tin of ravioli before and I had another panic attack with the added nausea, does anyone know a solution for this? Any help is much appreciated, DaF

- For a very temporary solution, you can try drinking your meals. For instance, I drink Slimfast (or the store brand equivalent) when my digestive system is acting up. Since you refer to it as a "tin" rather than a "can", I assume that you are not in the US. Slimfast is a brand of nutritional drink, usually used for weight loss. It comes in a powder form that the consumer mixes with nonfat milk, or it can come in a can, premixed and ready to chill and drink. I don't know if it's available outside the US, but probably there are similar products you can buy. The advantage of doing this is that you are not chewing, and so you might not have the same association with food. The nutritional drinks usually have enough calories, vitamins, and minerals to be a fairly healthy choice. I wouldn't advise eating canned ravioli again for a while. First of all, it's really not a healthy choice. Second, you have now associated it with all the other bad feelings, and it might take a while for the association to go away. Sometimes soft foods, like scrambled eggs or porridge, won't set off the association.
