I was wondering where I could go to value antiques?

I have an elephant that I got from my mother it is a weird looking thing but I have not seen anything like it anywhere I have looked on so many sites trying to find one like the one I have but nothing!! Is there anyone who could help me out

1. Have an antique appraiser look at it. This might cost money, but you could have a valuable antique, so it would be well worth it.
2. You could get some good photos of it from different angles. Note height and any distinguishing marks, etc. Like letters or numbers underneath. What is it made of? Do you know the history, where your mum got it, what she told you about it. That helps. It will be easier to cart this info and photos around to antique dealers. Some magazines have an antique identification spot. Are you in UK? Have a look at Yours magazine, it may be them, and you could send your details in. Have you typed in Antique elephant ornaments, into the web. There must be experts out there. Hope you find them. Good luck.
