Better to put items up for bid or buy now on ebay?

hello! i am selling all of my xbox 360 equipment and using ebay(this being my first time) when selling things on ebay is it better to let people bid or to just set a certain price(im selling quite a bit and need at least 500$) please don't be rude, im just very new at this

1. i have also recently listed an item on ebay for the first time and personally i think it is better if you put it up for auction (bidding) because you could get a better offer than you expected but if you are after a specific price then this may not be the best option and you would have to choose buy it now. thing with buy it now is that its a fixed price which sometimes puts people off if it is too high so you have to choose the right price! good luck with selling your item!
