- krav maga is fighting to kill i dont think you would beat them just end up looking a fool
- Ha ha ha, go on then, let's see you do it. Check you know the number for the local hospital.
- sure you "could", but you could also get beaten, really bad!
- Join a karate and try but i have spared with a black belt and he could wipe the floor with me if he wanted to and prob you too
- You could just buy one. But do you really want to prove you can beat them at karate? That's what they do at a karate tournament. Good luck with that, though. Make sure to tell us how it goes.
- If you fill out the right forms, then sure. Beating them is one thing. It shouldn't be hard to do, considering the restrictions that are placed on tournament fighting (i.e. no contact). You probably would not win the tournament if you follow all the rules. Why do it in a tournament? Just start picking fights outside of the convention center where the tournament is being held.
- lol...
- I don't think that works. Maybe if you join an MMA organization (not like UFC but a small one.)
- First off you can easily buy a black belt on line for about $15. Why would you need to steal one? Second, karate tournaments have rules that would likely stifle any of your Krav Maga techniques. Many do not allow contact or very limited contact. They also do not allow takedowns. In most cases you are looking at a game of "advanced tag." Third, you've really got a major ego problem if you think you're going to find some kind of satisfaction in beating a black belt in a tournament.
- I agree with Rob. some krav maga training would not help you against a fully trained karate black belt. he'd probably kick you in the head and knock you cold before you could touch him. you'd end up looking like a fool. but beyond that - obtaining a black belt isn't the hard part; forging the credentials to prove that you're a black belt is. they don't just hand out black belts with nothing to prove that you legitimately earned it. good luck with forgery and jail.
- One of my friends actually thought about doing somthing like that. He was going to borrow a black belt from another friend who was a black belt and enter the black belt division of a kickboxing tournament. He didn't go through with it though. I've never seen krav maga people fight before. I don't really know that much about it, so I don't know. If you really want to risk it, then maybe you should try it. If you do, please let me know how it goes! Email me!
- No, you'd get disqualified for illegal techniques. And it would be cowardly to challenge someone to a karate match/fight when you know you won't be using karate. Your opponent deserves to know what he's facing. There's an easier way. Just go to a karate dojo, talk a little smack about the inferiority of their technique to yours, and make a challenge. And bring a friend, because I imagine you're going to need someone to either a) help drag you out or b) watch your back after you win.
- Yeah, I recommend that you do it. just please give me chance to have my camcorder running first and find the address of "you've been framed". I could do with an easy 250quid.
- ya i stole one but i haven't used it yet
- You are a troll !!!!! It's questions like these that put me off answering in this section .
- lot of tournaments you can just lie, so yes just order a belt online. you could even start your own style and make yourself a black belt lol. that takes money of course though. also you could join one of these crappy karate schools that are all over where you can earn a blackbelt in like a year. if you train for real in krav maga ( and if its real krav maga you cant really hold back much) then you will beat most of these karate black belts. be warned though if you fight a real black belt ( one from a real karate school) you will most likely get your ass kicked
- another silly question . obviously your martial arts experience/ training is very limited .I think you should try it /a tournament and see if you get past the first round,i dont think so . good luck your going to need it .
- karate tournaments are a waste of time unless they are kyokoshin or subaki
- No not really i think you would lose the first fight. They are fast, hit hard and have done for years, since you would have "stolen" the black belt they won't go easy on you. Its not like the Karate Kid you won't get up after being hit 12 times in the leg :P
- Oh please do...that would make it so much fun for us "real" black belts out there...BTW I have many years of Krav Maga and you are going to find out that you are so limited and must follow rules in competitive sparring. Besides why do you need to "prove" anything at all? Are you that insecure in your training? As my Sensei always said..."no matter what art you study...no matter what your ideals are...just Shut Up and train."
- i have to agree with Lean here. You would either A) get disqualified for using illegal moves or B) get your ass kicked. Besides, what do you have against karate practitioners? You've got some serious issues (some egotistic, some not).
- I love the movie the Karate Kid...but it is just that a movie... not reality... definitely a kid or a troll...
